URINALYSIS

Urinalysis it the most common method of drug testing. Urinalysis can be done at our clinic as an express/POCT (Point of Collection Test) at our clinic or on site. You also have the option of sending the sample to the Lab instead of/or in addition to POCT testing. Lab results take approximately 2-3 working days. All DOT (Department of Transport) testing must be sent to the lab. Alcohol can also be measured in urine by doing an ethanol lab based test.

Oral fluids/Saliva

Oral fluid testing can be done as an alternative or in addition to urinalysis. Oral fluid can be done in office or on site. Because oral fluid is an observed test, its less likely to be altered or tampered with. Oral fluid testing can capture very recent drug use that may not show on a urine test. Oral fluids have a slightly shorter window of detection, especially when testing THC. Oral fluid testing can be done as a POCT test or sent to the lab.

Hair

Hair testing is not as common but provides a longer detection window. Hair testing can determine drug use going back atleast 90 days. All hair collections are sent to the lab for testing.

Breathalyzers

Breathalyzers are a way of measuring the alcohol content in your lungs, which is an accurate reflection of the alcohol content in your blood. Like drug testing, this can be done in office or on site.
